How did I learn this?

Like most moms, I used to struggle with health issues, mainly exhaustion and constant sickness.

Between running around all day vacuuming endless crumbs (except on Sunday of course), preparing multiple meals in a tiny kitchen—not to mention getting woken up at 2 am and 4 am every night—I managed to come down with the Flu twice in a matter of a few short years (never having had the FLU in my entire life).

In those days, I was just barely getting by.

How did I learn this?

Like most moms, I struggled with health issues, mainly exhaustion and constant sickness.

Between running around all day vacuuming endless crumbs (except on Sunday of course), preparing multiple meals in a tiny kitchen—not to mention getting woken up multiple times every night—I managed to come down with the Flu twice in a matter of a few short years (never having had the FLU in my entire life).

When doctors shrugged their shoulders and offered no real solutions, I put my science cap back on…

I headed back to school to learn how to best take care of myself and my family.

It turns out stress and sleep are pretty damn important to your health and well-being.

But what I really learned was empowering —there are simple things we can do to boost our immune system naturally and effectively so we are able to fight off whatever life throws at us.

Now myself and my family not only survive, we thrive.

Since then I’ve helped moms just like you who are looking for better ways to protect their families.

I am not a magician, I take a holistic approach to helping families thrive by looking at more than just diet and nutrition (while super important). But so is about sleep, self care and reducing toxins.

It really is the little things we do on a daily basis that can make a big difference in our overall health.

Now I am not saying we never get sick.

I can honestly say (knock on my IKEA table), I don’t remember the last time I’ve been sick (besides the bad shrimp incident last New Year’s Eve). 

However, I have two kids, aka germ factories—and they are around other germ factories—the kind that put their hands down their pants as well as their nose, and tend to lick everything in sight (a garbage can, the cashier checkout counter — seriously son WHY?)

So they will come down with something or other from time to time. But I’m like Dr. Who when it comes to noticing the first signs of a cold and know what to do so we can beat it—quick.

Our recovery rate is typically 1-2 days! 

Meaning less missed days of work, school or even family holidays.

A few questions you may have:

Can I still do this even if I’m on holiday or have a full time job?<br />

Absolutely! You can always watch the replays, and since I know we are all busy moms, I try to keep the teaching down to around 30-45 minutes each week. I assure you you can do this wherever you are in the world.

I am a vegetarian—is this still applicable?<br />

Yes, all my menu plans have adjustments for both vegetarians and meat-eaters. 

How is the program delivered?<br />

Immunity and Beyond is broken up into weekly themes over the course of the 4 weeks. The Weekly PDF packets will be delivered every Friday to your inbox, so you have the weekend to read through them.
